Shouldn't, so check your brake switch adjustment, Thats about the only other thing that will make it not work. The ecm looks for signal to turn on ( you have because it shows the light ) then it will deny cruise for several things - speed, brake input, key on/off, ect.

Is there a way to check the brake switch? Is there a resistance check I can do or anything? A tried the felt pad trick and it still won't engage.

On a great note though. When I got to work today after messing with the cruise trying to get it to work the whole 6 minute trip.

When I was going to hit the button to turn the cruise off, I hit the wrong side and guess what............. The truck idled up to 1100rpm. I was like ...

So either my diablo programed it so that is would work or the dealer programmed it when the previous owner had it.

BUT IT WORKS
