My light came on today while i got on it merging into traffic with my bullydog set on 2 performance the two codes i got and cleared were p1756 shift solenoid b performance and pc602ecm comm error can anyone help explain these codes for me

I think the p602 is common with downloaders??...I think the smarty used to throw that code but they came out with a update to fix it...they called it a nuisance(sp?) code, and said it did not hurt anything...
I dont know if it is the same for the BDD?? someone else will chime in I am sure

 

Got a P602 today but it didn't throw a CEL, I'm guessing its related to the TST, did you ever find out what caused your codes 53 ******?

 

I never got those codes from the Smarty I tried...the only codes I have had are the IAT sensor from me forgetting to plug my IAT sensor in after I installed my intake...lol...sorry I am not much help
I just read about the 602 code on here and then bob came on and said Marco had fixed the 602 code...this is all I know

 

my pred tuner gives that code too,diablo says its normal.but for them rough idle and other issues are normal.ive had that code forever,also the skim key code too.0633 i think.

 

Interesting, I never got that code until I switched to the "Performance" setting I usually run the Extreme and never got that code before (P602). But now that I run the TST the fueling demand keeps me from running the Extreme, I did get a FASS 150 for Xmas, I'll see what happens when I get it installed.
