hello everyone,
I need help , I just bought my first diesel a 06 3500 srw 4X4 shortbed with 3400 miles on it now. This afternoon i started the truck up and the MIL came on. I turn the key to the on, off, on, off, on position but no code appear. The only thing I saw on the third on was the MIL stay on for 10-15 second and blink 10 times with a fast blink at the end and the stay on again but no code appear. Does anyone what is wrong.

 

I think you have to cycle the key 3 times and it should givr you a code, our take it to your local auto parts store and see if they have a code reader, they usually will check them for you.
