Thumbs up Help identifying '04 vs '04.5 CTD

Hey guys, I just bought a "new" '04 CTD and need to know how to tell if its the '04.5 and what the differences are. I know it has 4.10s in it and its in perfect condition. It is to be dilivered on Wednesday or Thrusday, and I cant wait! Any info on the differences between the '04 and the 06 CTD is appreciated.
Also, does anyone know if the factory Nav unit in my '06 CTD will fit in the 04s? I did see Nav was an option in the '05 SRT-10, so that bezel should fit right into the 04, correct?
Thanks guys!

04.5 has a cat, full 4" exaust, White label on drivers side of valve cover says 325hp.

04 no cat, 3.5" downpipe, and engine label says 305hp.

Those appear to be the major differences and there are others but the above is the easy way to identify it.

Your 06 Nav system will not fit in the 04. The wiring is all different. I don't think your Bully Dog can be switched over from an 06 to an 04. There are a lot of differences there too.
As far as power, the 04 can make big numbers but it will take a little more work than it does for the 04.5s and newer. It's just stupid how easy it is to make big power with these new trucks!! I had a young kid in a Ford w/ stacks on my rear this morning trying to mess with me in traffic. I was hoping it would clear up so he could get up beside me but it never happened. I think he would have been in for a big surprise.....

I don't think a 2006 product will work on an early 2004 vehicle.

Most performance goodies are sold for 2003-2004.5 trucks, and then 2004.5-2007 trucks.

I looked at 2 '04s CTDs yesterday and cant remember which one, but one DID have 325hp on the side of the valve cover. Im hoping its the one I bought. That would make it an '04.5, right?

Correct.

My 2004 truck was built in May of 2003, and the white label on the driver side of the motor is marked ISB 305, this making it the 305 HP/555 TQ motor.

I like the 2004 version because it has no catalytic converter and typically gets better gas mileage.

Plus, it does not take much to get the 325/600 power rating....

04 or 04.5, if you run a programmer be sure to address the lift pump deficiencies.

So I need to learn about that. Where should I start?
The truck does have a 3/36 bumper to bumper coming with it, so as long as I leave it pretty stock, Dodge will fix the pump problem.
