HELP!!!! 48re Tranny Leak
Guys I moved my truck this morning and when I got out of the truck I noticed about 4 or 5 drops of red fluid in the snow. I looked under the truck and on the bottom of the tranny pan there was fluid all over it. I checked the fluid level it is at the add mark. What could be the problem?

Could be anything from seals, cooler line connections, to a pan gasket. Start with the pan gasket. See if any of the bolts are loose. Take a flashlight and inspect all the areas above the pan gasket. This might show you if a case line is leaking or other.
If the is no indication of fluid above the pan, I would change the pan gasket.

If it is the tranny pan gasket, might I suggest the Mopar reusable unit?
I used to have a heck of a time keeping mine sealed up, replaced it with the sandwiched Mopar one and no problems since. They are bloody expensive, but worth it IMHO.
