hard start

hard start

My buddy has a 04 and he called me up to see if i had any ideas he said when it is warm it starts hard and cranks long, He has to sit and wait and then it will start after a few tries it will start. Also the check gauges light flickers sometimes but he does not know if they are related. any ideas let me know thanks

im having the same problem. from reading on here, a fuel filter will help the problem for a few days, but the root of the problem are the injectors.

i changed my fuel filter last night, so far so good, but i have a feeling it will go back to the same ole cranking 6-8 times before it fires

injectors or fuel return valve its gotta name cant think of it tho

Yep...injectors. Possibly not helping the situation is valves needing adjustment (IE, not done for the first scheduled time).
