is hard 1-2 shifts bad??

is hard 1-2 shifts bad??
since i've had my tranny build.. the shifts are alot firmer.. and the 1-2 shifts are pretty hard sometimes... would that be bad for the long run? would it hurt anything else in the tranny? or should i have nothing to worry about....

I love how mine will snap necks I say a firm shift is better then a softy and tranny guys have been building them for years with nothing said for problems it has caused but longer lasting tranny!

over time it may wear the ujoints and pinion/ring gears faster due to the impact loads on the gear teeth. meaning you may only get 400,000 miles out of them instead of 500,000.
