Should be able to if the drill is not too long. The front is only raised about a foot then the lower front of the bed will start to contact the back of the cab.

Dodgezilla:
Hey buddy, sorry to hear about the problems you had with your truck!
IMO, the quality of diesel fuel in this country has steadily been going down. I don't know if I told you or not, but at the end of last summer, I was on my way out to Denver in my 1996 Dodge. Just before I got to Kansas City, Mo. on I-70 my truck began running badly, close to what you described on yours!
To make a "long story short" it ended up being a tar-like substance in the filter contained within the fuel heater and then a very small amount in the fuel filter too! Fortunately, I had extra fuel filters and was able to clean out the fuel heater filter. During this incident though I was thinking that if I had been in my 2002, I may have been SOL if you know what I mean!
Intitially, I thought maybe I had the beginnings of the "diesel fungus" you hear members talk about, but the entire fuel system was all new during the time Scheid did my rebuild! Fortunately, it was just dirty fuel and subsequent checks of the filters etc. revealed no more problems.

I hear ya John. I haven't had any problems since changing the filter but now just knowing that my tank has this stuff in it, I will have to pull it off and clean it out...
