Had 98 and just got an 03 What should I look for

Just picked up an 03 CCSB 4x4 6 speed with 24K miles. I survived all the lift/injection pump issues with the 98 24 valve. What do I need to be aware of on the 03's? Also would like a little more bottom end torque in the 1000 to 1600 RPM range. Don't want to do anything wild, probably add a 4" exhaust and a good intake system. What else would help me with the low end torque? Anyone have any suggestions or beaware of's? Thanks in advance
Congrats, I have 25k on my ODO. The lift pump on the03/04s, tend to give up early. Genos has a replacement, so does Richard @ Glacier.
If you want a 4" exhaust, you have to change the turbo to downpipe cast elbow, from the 03/04 to a 04.5+ cast elbow, most folks also change the turbo. From an HE341 54/58/9 to an HE351 60/60/9.
You have the best 3rd Gen produced, IMO. Take good care of it. Jess

whats the deal with the APPS, is there a reset procedure like the 98-02? or do you need a new sensor? mine is acting up, when i shift the thottle "hangs" and even revs up a lil before goin back down. pissin me off
