I took the little wires off of the grid heater relay, just to see what would happen. Popped a check engine light. Checked the code with my edge, it was for the grid heaters. Now I took the big wire off of the battery, I'll see what will happen in the morning.

Started fine without the grid heaters working this morning, and it got down to 28 degrees last night. No need for grid heaters where I live.

All Dodges seem to charge more in cold weather. Even my 2001 Durango shows it charging higher then normal on cold days. I wouldn't worry about it at all. It's just one of those deals and it dosen't indicate a problem at all to me.
