got a 4inch elbow on turbo no fit help!

I have a 2003 555 trq ho cummins. I got a 4,inch elbow and down tube from dealer. I took it to muffler shop and he called and said no fit. The "bumps" on the elbow pointed the wrong direction anybody run into this? He is welding it up tommorow and unless you help it will still be 3 1/2 at elbow. I need all the lenth I can get!At least 4 inchs

Are you talking about the two small indexing pins? If so you just pull them out. I have a 2004 305/555 and have the complete 2005 exhaust on my truck. Bolted up with no problems.

The pins are just to get the elbow pointed at the right angle. The 2003 -2004 exhaust manifold has the holes in a different location than the 2005 and up. Just leave the v band clamps loose until you get everything lined up then tighten them up.

All these guys are right......the elbow from the 325 hp trucks has a different clock position than the 305 hp trucks. Removal of the pins is easy.

I hung a Magnaflow #15989 5" system on my 2003 RAM 2500 Quad Cab CTD 305/555......worked like a charm.

Don't mean to hyjack the thread, but does anyone here know the part number off the exhaust hanger bracket shown in the picture above? It has the number stamped on it and I'm trying to find out what it is. My dealer tried for 10 minutes to find it on his computer and said he can't get it.

I need one for my cummins swap project. Thanks
