Gold color leak, evaporates after a few days?????
I revcently bought a 2006 3500, 5.9l 4x4. I've found where I think this leak is originating from, unsure where to go from here. Looking up under the truck on the passenger side, it's leaking from the flex hose connecting two pipes. This is above the oil pan, toward the rear of the engine block. Are these tranny cooler lines? If I remove the flex hose will it rain fluid down on me? Has anyone else had this problem?
Anything will help!!

Yep, one of the most common problems with our trucks. If you'd like, you could search and find hundreds of posts about the issue.
I tightened my hose clamp last year and it hasn't leaked since. There is a new hose and clamp available... Better hose, and a spring clamp instead of a worm clamp.

Awesome! Thanks for the quick response! So, I'll tighten the hose clamp, now where should I replace the lost fluid? Might be totally obvious, but new to these diesel engines and big trucks etc.
Thanks again.

Just make sure the coolant is HOAT. Don't mix HOAT with DEX coolant.
You probably have Zerox GO-5 which is light gold in color. MOPAR coolant is pink.
