Geno's 4low switch. Any good?
I saw a switch from Geno's that allows using 4low range in 2 wheel drive (front axle not engaged). Only $115.00. Has anyone used this? Also, is there a way to make this with parts from Radio Shack?

Is that for the electronic shift? I would like to have that on my 03 but didn't realize it was available for the electronic shift.
I have it on my 98 (that was just a vacuum solenoid) and its a awesome mod

Works great if you have a second gen truck. Wont work on a 3rd gen. The axles in a 3rd gen are not the same as a 2nd. 2gen are ingaged by a vaccume selinoid while 3gen are constantly engaged, onlything that disengages to provide 2wd on a 3rd gen is the transfer case.
To get the same effect on a 3rd gen you have to replace the hubs with a manual locking hub kit.....wich aint cheap!!

It looked like an electronic type box. So I thought it was for 3rd gen trucks. Bummer, I would like to have this option, and changing the hubs is way out of my price range.
