Hello, I am thinking of purchasing a new 06 Dodge off the lot. Before I do this though I really want to know what the gear ratio is. There is no indication on the sticker or in the glove comparment. The dealer acts as though they have no way of finding out what the ratio is. Short of actually counting the tire and drive shaft rotations, is there any way to determine that is actually in this truck? Thanks!

 

if its not marked on the window sticker its 3.73. They are standard gear with a diesel. 4.10s are a option and would be listed on the sticker.

 

If it's a 6 speed then the only gear ratio avialable is the 3.73. If it's an auto then read the above post.

 

The truck is an auto, the above answers make sence. I'm surprised the dealer acted like they didn't know this. Thanks for the replys.
