I'd do 15k while under warranty, and maybe 30k after that.

I run Redline 75-140 rear and 75-90 front.

As long as it is full synthetic and rated at GL-5...

Amsoil Severe Gear 75w-90 in the axles, and like said above, while in the warantee I changed according to the maint schedule. Now that I'm out of the drivetrain warantee, I have extended the changes to 30K as well.
I did use Royal Purple 75W-90 one time as well, and it was great as well. At 75K my gears still have machining marks and literally look new. So, the Amsoil and RP are good in my eyes!

I've had RP 75w-90 in the diffs for the last 7.5k and I'm happy with it. I have the same in the gear box of the finish mower on my tractor and it's been good in there too. Next time I change it, which will probably be around 30k or so, I'm going to replace it with Amsoil Severe Gear and go for extended intervals, right now it's every 15k.

Just changed mine @ 16k
Went w/ 75w-140 because I was able to find 4 qts 'mis-priced' at a local Advance Auto for $8.xx/qt. Normally it's like $15/qt
Think next time I'll go back to 75w-90

We run SynerGyn in all of our diffs... can't buy anything better (lot of race teams use it).
