GDP walbro pump kit on a 2003 any one with some pic of a install would be great. (I have never seen one) Some prices of your swicth would all so be helpfull just so a can have a good idea when I go shopping around. And if you can recall any misc parts that I should be needing allso. I still have the original CP3 unit in my truck at 114 000 miles I was going to replace it this year just to be safe. But I heard that going with the GDP unit is the best way to go.

Installed on on my 04.5 with the filter mounted pump. Same process for both. I bought the GDP 392 kit, Big Line Kit, and fuel strainer. Purchesed them through this website. Total with shipping was $498. Install was simple took about 3.5 hrs to install. Instructions are great and lots of pics in instructions also. The kit for our trucks replaces filter mounted pump with just the new electric pump. Will pretty much double your fuel pressure if not triple from stock pump. Have been running mine for about 2,000 miles and no problems or leaks. Also no noise from pump at all. Hope this helps you out. Sorry no pics right now, but if you do get kit great instructions and also instructions are on their website to look at to get an idea of how it is run and set-up.

I also have an 04.5 that had the filter mounted pump.....same as the 03s and 04s. Starting in 05 they went to the in tank pumps.

Sorry I don't have any pics to show you of my set up, but I do highly recommend the GDP Walbro pump and 2 micron filter kit too. http://www.glacierdieselpower.com/ My fuel pressure at idle went from 7.5 psi stock....to about 18.5 now. At WOT it was zero stock (Smarty on level 9) and about 15-16 psi now.

Well I'm sold. ordered the GFS-391 Performance System with the 2 micron filter kit, from the site TexasCTD recomened. Looks easy enought to put in myself, thought it would be more compulated. Thanks for the help, I am glad I found this site. I was thinking on getting the a new truck this your or next but the truck I have has been good to me. Only had it in shop 5 times since new for goofy things like power door lock on pas side died cut wires on fan. So a cant bring myself to repalce it, so was looking for sites on the cummins. I have been reading as many of the post here when I can, to find comman troubles that most of you are having. So I can have a good idea on what may come up with my truck. So keep them coming and expect more questions from me.
