You guys are truly funny!

Back to BUNGS - Those of you who have the fast coolers, do they have a bung for a temp sensor? or must you have one welded on?

I like the idea of monitoring the temp, hot here in the desert SW, and I also like the idea of the additional fluid capacity for lubrication and cooling.

Fast Coolers already have a port specifically for the probe.

More fluid is always a good thing IMO.

I e-mailed Geno's, they tell me that the Fast Coolers ARE NOT available for the G56 and to keep checking with them regarding the product.

I checked out the Fast Coolers website, e-mailed the regarding availability of a set and the parts kit. Waiting for a return reply from them.

The information on their site shows a 1/4npt for a sender. Says to add 1-1/2 quarts more than stock. The p/n 2fc300-the 300 references the depth of the cooler- meaning it is 3 inches additional area on each side then multiply by the length to get additional area of capacity.

When I hear back from them I will post their information.

See Post # 12.

Fast Coolers responded to me with a definite YES to the availability on 10/31.

Geno's is confused, they just sold one to XLR8R!

Got my response from Fast Coolers, they told me its available plus you need the kit. I did read the earlier posts and could not understand why Geno's was telling me it was not available yet - the response came from Ben Fosberg. Guess Geno's did not want to make the sale or this fellow needs some instructions/directions regarding the coolers and kits for the G56, their loss. Anyway, I ordered from Fast Coolers. As soon as the Fast Coolers get here, time to change the fluids in tranny, xfer case and axles. I am also adding the MagHytec's to the front and rear axles. Have got to get the tranny temp sender ordered too. I am thinking of installing temp senders on the axles as well. Might as well know all there is to know.
