Fuel pressure gauge for Raptor RP100

Due to an injury I am just now getting ready to install my Raptor RP100. It’s going to replace the original firewall mounted pump on my 03.
1: Should I order this adaptor? http://www.glacierdieselpower.com/pr...?pf_id=03045FA
2: Does anybody know what the center hole on the adaptor is for?
3: Truck is going to remain stock so I am not too concerned about gauges other than LP pressure. Any easy to install gauge advise would be appreciated.

The center hole on the adapter goes into the fuel filter canister, with an o-ring. The adapter replaces the canister mounted lift pump.

I knew that. Or I should have. Guess I will order the adapter since it looks like the easiest way to add a guage. Any thoughts on an easy to install guage?

I don't have a recommendation for a gauge. If it was me I would just mount a liquid pressure gauge under the hood. You can find liquid filled oil pressure gauges used on Harley Davidson for around $20-30.

I like my Isspro EV2 Elec FP. Don't mount the sensor right on the motor. I put mine in the soft line from the Cat filter to the CP3. Others run a grease gun hose to a remote location to mount the sender. Or you can run a mech FP gauge and run a line into the cab.

That sounds like the easiest way. There is probably enough room to mount it just like in the picture. I am assuming you need a liquid filled guage because of the vibrations.

Just so you know how stupid I am, I am assuming you are talking about putting the guage on the outflow side of the filter?

Thanks for your time guys.

Not really a stupid question as I could have been a bit more clear, and yes I put the gauge on the outlet side of the filter. Even if you don't have any aftermarket filtration, I would still put it on the outflow side of stock canister (maybe replace hard line with soft line or just get a tapped banjo and put on bottom of FF canister).

My thought was I wanted the gauge after ALL my filters so that if there was a plug or I got a particularly bad batch of fuel and the filters went to ****, I'd know about it. I would assume liquid filled smaller gauges would be the cheapest. You can grab some generic pressure gauges from Grainger for <$30.

Good thoughts. Thanks guys. For the time being, Im going to get the adapter http://www.glacierdieselpower.com/pr...?pf_id=03045FA and Glacier also sells Wika liquid guages for $26 bucks. Figure I will put the guage on the adapter for the time being. Than when I finally get around to installing an EGT guage I will also install a FP guage on the engine side of the filter.
Thanks again for the help guys.
