fuel in oil 04.5

after 800 miles the oil is over filled by 1 gallon of fuel,325 hp ,64000miles
truck is use, for towing, the load is about 5000lbs. edge, intake, k/n, aurora
3000 turbo, banks exhaust, asi converter/large pan, 35in tires, still has the cat on it.
today complete dionostic, no leaks any where, they dyed and scoped motor and injectors, this was not a dealer. it was a cummins shop, the dealer told me the motor may not be broke in yet !!!!!!!!!! have other cummins the same
no problems!!!!!!!!!! help

 

Sounds like an Injector stuck open to me. Maybe it closed back up before you got it checked out, but a gallon of Diesel in the oil can't be healthy. I WOuld pull the injectors and have them tested/Replaced. How is the oil coming out of the Vent tube under the truck? Lot of it? Usually when the crank gets full from fuel it runs out the bottom..

careful roper. this guy knows it all. i told him the same thing you did, and he bashes me for it. 99.99% of the folks on DTR are great, this guy is the exception.

 

aw whatta you know, with your 4800 posts and your built CTD puttin' out 578 hp.

 

apparently nothing, i guess my job as a cummins and cat instructor means nothing either.

because, dodge said the motor is not broke in yet at 64000 miles and it from towing all the time
the cummins people said the pump could not leak in to the oil.
I own them, drive them, i don't build them.
