Fuel Lift pump on 04 Shot
Dodge dealers don't sell them any more -- but want you to do the in-tank replacement.
I see a lot of ad for AUX fuel lift pumps that mount on the frame rail -- but will they work with a deal original?
Any options?
I need to get this fixed ASAP.

If you get the Glacier system it's easier to install if the lift pump is not in the tank to start with. If you have a pump in the tank, you have to drop the tank to install a new fuel pickup.(good time to do the vent mod). E-bay has Glacier Diesel products from several vendors. Look at their website to get more info. There are several other options available like AirDog and FASS. These offer fuel filtering and air/water seperation as well as a good pump.

Just a thought. Your 100,000 mi. engine/drivetrain warranty covers that pump if you still qualify. And that would cost you nothing!

well i'm suggesting you go with a aftermarket lift pump. my vote goes with a walbro 392. but there are other good pumps out there as well i'm sure a couple guys will chime in as well. i got the vulcan bigline kit and walbro 392 comp kit for $378 shipped. put if you currently don't have the intake lift pump it would be like 20-30 bucks cheaper for you. pm me and i'll give you my contacts number at vulcan performance. i'm pretty sure i ordered it on a friday afternoon he shipped it on a saturday and i had it by tuesday. washington state to maryland.
