They carry the correct one, but is is $40 compared to a cummins dealer oe genosgarage.com where they are $15. It is extremely easy to change. Youe just need a big socket to remove the canister cap.It take about a whole 10 min to change.

Yes the dealer has the filter(at about 4 times the price) so does Napa, autozone,Cummins and geno's garage. It takes 5-10 min. to change. Make sure to remove the old o-ring and install the new one.

I get all my filters from a big rig shop, they are cummins authorized so they carry all the fleetguard filters and if they don't have it they can order it.
Case tractor shop should have them also.

Fleetguard 19800E is the new one (I think thats the part #). I get my FG filters from Cummins Northwest or any Freightliner dealer (at least every FL dealer I ever went into carried FG Filters) Usually they run around $13-$15 bucks. Easy change. Need a 1 1/8" socket or wrench, loosen the cap, then spin it off by hand. Theres a little vacuum pressure when you pull the cap off. Filter will come out with it. Pull the old one off the cap, take old o-ring off cap, put new o-ring on and coat it lightly with diesel. Then pop the new filter in the cap and screw it back into the filter housing. I usually drain the canister and fill it with fresh diesel before putting in new filter, but it's not necessary. you can leave the fuel in the canister while doing the swap. Takes all of 5 minutes to make the swap.
