DieselDude..... interesting... using the whole quart every other tank so the stuff is like a 100% shot of single malt Scotch Whiskey..

DieselDude - what size tank do you have....

Now that brings a question.... should one put 16oz a tank or a quart every other tank for a real cleaning.... As for the PS - 16oz a tank was a little higher as it is... the bottle says use 16oz on 50 gallons... so the 16 oz on 34 gallons is indeed a good little boost in ratio.. and with gas and everyone else on the raise every $$ adds up....

I use PowerService Diesel Kleen. 16oz per tank. The stuff works pretty good. Once I got some bad fuel, the engine was rattling pretty bad. Poured a whole 32oz bottle in the tank and made a huge difference in noise and performance.

I just bought a bottle of PowerService Diesel Fuel Supplement + Cetane Boost. I figure I'll go fill up my tank today and add 16 oz and see if it makes a noticable difference. When I was looking at the two, it looked like the Supplement and the Kleen were pretty similar, but the Supplement had the added prevents gelling. As it's getting colder up here and will pretty soon get into winter.

Anyone have some reasons why the Kleen is better than the Supplement for our trucks? I'm just wondering, not trying to spark an argument.

ckennedy, I use the PS Diesel Kleen year round. No need for the white bottle if your staying in south Texas.

CK, the redline is by far your best choice. The reason it's the best choice is because its got an emulsifier for water in fuel . It will allow the water present in all fuel to safely pass through your system. The stock water separator/fuel filter is marginal at best as far as stopping water, so it's best to keep it in tiny droplets. Stanadyne on the other hand has a demulsifier, which causes water to clump or pool. Not good IMO putting that much trust in the stock water separator with such an expensive injection system. Powerservice doesn't deal with water whatsoever FYI. The only two additives available that I've found that have emulsifiers and contain no alcohols etc are Primrose Powermaster 405/409(winter) and Redline 85+/Diesel fuel Catalyst. The redline is more easily available, the primrose can be ordered online, and is slightly more concentrated/cost effective. I highly suggest you use the redline if you have it available close by..

Stanadyne PF year round here. Started using it on my 99, and have continued the practice and will continue to use it on this one.

Stanadyne Performance Formula. I buy it in 5 gallon cans for $116.00 at a local diesel shop, much more economical than smaller bottles.

cheap and reliable usually It takes about 3 days to get it
I buy 1 small bottle and 1/2 gallon jug I then just keep filling the small bottle up it has a gauge on it it goes buy the gallon so its eazy to figger out.
I just keep the little bottle full and in the bed and add every other fill up.
