front axle centering?
i did a search and came up with nothing. not sure if i was using the correct wording (which is listed in the title).
i would like to know "how" before installing an adjustable track bar.
can someone point me in the right direction in finding this info?
thanks in advance!

Do you mean how to determine its centered? If so, I don't know any technical answer for you.I do know that if you have a leveling kit you will only need about a 1/4-1/2" more length on the track bar to center it.You can remove the stock track bar and measure from center to center on each mounting hole and just adjust the new bar to 1/4-1/2" longer and it should put it back to center.

Use at least two different reference points to locate the axle. The distance between the springs and bump stops is pretty easy to see and get to. You can also do something like sight down the body crease along the bottom of the trim strip from the front of the vehicle across the top of the tire. It becomes pretty obvious once you start crawling around looking at things.
I laid the old track bar alongside the new one and adjusted out to a half inch longer to start with. Ended up being anouther couple turns out on the adjuster before it was centered. Drive it a bit between checks to make sure it settled where it wants to be.

I put the 3rd gen retrofit on my 2nd gen with an adjustable track bar. From the instructions I got, I installed it all then adjusted it when it was on, find some good measuring points... I think I found a good spot on the frame to the tire, and/or if you can check in acouple spots, then I adjusted the bar until I got the same distance on both sides that the tire was away from the frame.
