Fleetguard Fuel Filter Question

This may sound a bit parnoid, but when it comes to the fuel system, especially the last barrier before the CP3, I am very careful. I bought a new FS19579 thats still sealed in plastic, but several pleats are "delaminated", and there is a red tinted spot about 1¼" in diameter in the middle of the generally white filter area.

I didn't notice this on any of the other filters. Is this a potential problem and should I return the filter?

If there is any delamination take it back.

I've seen the red spot before.

I bet it is just the "end of roll" indicator, much like the red stripe on adding machine rolls,
or dot matrix printer paper (if your old enough to remember what that is)

Don't think I've seen the delamination, or are sure exactly what you mean by it?
