Fleetguard fuel filter

On Genos website they claim the fleetguard fuel filter (premium) filters to 7 micron, I was told that you needed a filter that will filter to at least 4 micron, is there any truth here. thanks

Bosch does recommend 5 micron filtration for the CR.
Baldwin PF7977 is a 5 micron drop in filter.

considering the OEM filter is only 10 microns, the 7 is better. Better filtration is the way to go but, it comes stock with 10 microns.

If you are trying to maintain warranty, stay with the fleetguard products. It'll just make things easier if you do have a warranty issue later on.
