Fleetguard Fleet-Tech, can we use t??
I bought a quart of Fleetguard Fleet-Teck winter conditioner and just wondering if anyone else is using it? Got it from Geno's and that's all they had that will prevent gelation. It show a pic of a big rig on the front bottle and just wondering if it's ok to use in our trucks?

There's a zillion kinds of DFA's out there. I've never used it, but if Geno's sells it I'm sure its perfectly good to use in our trucks.

I've been using it for about the last 5,500 miles with no problems at all. I would guess this to the best stuff to use with the cummins since it is made by cummins (fleetguard). But I really think any of the DFAs would be fine.

If you want to use a Fleetguard fuel additive the turbodiesel all season fuel additive might be the best one to use as it has a cetane booster, pour point/plug point reducer, and additional lubricity. Stanadyne Performance Formula has pretty much the same and is approved for use by Ford, GM, Volvo, VW, Deere, Caterpillar, Navistar, and others. I don't think that any other fuel additive has as many approvals, and many don't seem to have any approvals. For me the choice was pretty clear.
