First problem... On uneven roads popping feeling coming from front end?

Truck JUST had the 15k service done. And did a 5 hour trip today. Toward the end I noticed a slight popping feeling coming from the front end. I can feel it in the steering wheel and I also feel it in the brake/gas pedal. It also feels like there is now some slack or play in the steering wheel??? I dunno what to even tell the dealer to look at and since they seem to be pretty hard headed sometimes. Is this a u-joint problem? They serviced the balljoints and driveshaft at the 15k service could these be the problem? Or is it the trackbar? (this is my guess)

I am probably not explaining this well but simply put there is a slight pop and loose feeling in the front end.

I have been trouble free until now I hope I can get this resolved.

Just tell them what you told us. your not in 4x4 are you? I know stupid question but you never know.
I thought the ball joints and drive shafts and not serviceable, exactly what did they do? they didn't charge you did they? If they did tell them to show you what they did. there are no grease fitting on my 99 ball joints or drive shaft.

check your "track bar" for wear at the joint. That sounds familiar to the sound my older truck made. Some times the boot gets ripped and you loose the grease and end up with a bad joint.

I will check the track bar and see if there is any wear. I guess I would like to be able to point them in the right direction.

They did the 15k service outlined in the service manual that came with the truck. In it specifies serveral things that get a shot'o grease.

So maybe wheel bearings then? IF, and this is only a if... the dealer says 'oh there is no problem' what would be my best defense to get this fixed??? I guess I am worried after reading about all the problems guys are having with the dealers. I will be going to them tuesday.

I had the exact same thing, it ended up being a loose shock bolt. I torqued them all down and it stopped!

This is why I love this forum! I will take a look I never would have thought about something that simple.
