firestone destination at or cooper st tires or bridgestone dueler?

Getting that time again. I am replaceing my stt's after about 45k. Will not get them again. I want a less aggressive tire that may balance better, last longer, wear better, not pull, with less noise, better rolling resistance, etc. The stt's were great at what they were made for but they are not for me. My driving is done on snowy roads and pavement with very little off road if any. Tirerack rates the destinations as a great tire. A guy I ran into this weekend loves his st's. I will be going with the 315/17's again. What do you guys think so I can get a good looking tough tire that may be a little better mileage?

I currently have Cooper S/T tires on my truck right now. Prior to that I had Cooper STT. Snow traction is good, off road traction is great and the noise level on the highway is very acceptable. I have the stock 265/70/17 size. In my opinion, they are every bit as good off-road, but with a lot less road noise. I can't say what their life expectancy would be, as I only have a few thousand miles on these.

My buddy has the Bridgestone Revo 2's in the 315 size. He's happy with them. No squirm or vibes. These and Firestone's AT LTR's are made by Bridgestone and have the Uni-T manufacturing process assuring negligible weight when balancing. They are also load range E. Any tire with a 50 psi max doesn't say much about sidewall strength.

34k on my Bridgestones and no problems what so ever. Installed many sets of Revos and Destinations in the past and cannot remember any complaints....Dueler revos off road traction is not great, on road, in the snow, rain etc. excellent.

I really like my Brigestone A/T's so far and I had them verify the balance due to the fact that there where very few weights on the tires especially for a 35" or so tire. Towed 8K 1000 miles didn't feel any sidewall flex

That's good news on the lack of sidewall flex. I carry a camper all the time and am currently using Toyo AT 285-75-17. I'd like to go up a size and haven't heard anything from guys with a lot of tongue wt. or a camper.

the only thing i didn't like at first was the fact that they only go to 65psi max but it didn't seem to affect it

Bridgestone makes the Firestone AT's. Either one will do. Same construction and load range.

I got rid of the Goodyear's and put on Fire Stone TRANS FORCE LT Thees tires are a LOT better than the JUNK Goodyear. They are some of the best truck tires I have had they wear rill good. I also did my fifth wheel the same way. The trans force has out did the Goodyear on the fifth wheel by 30.000 miles the good years was ST tires the TRANS FORCE is LT . I am a snow bird and put a lot of miles on from NOV to April. Last winter we put on 13.879 miles. == good luck ==
