Finally got new truck!!

Well i finally found the one i was after and bought it. An emaculate 03 quad cab HO. 6-speed 4x4 with 60kmiles. It pulls like a dream and drives much better than the 02 s that i have been looking at. My only complaint is the low gearing and interstate driving, I am not sure what an appropriate cruising rpm would be so any one with 4.10's that has experiance with long interstate driving i would very much like to hear your input. It has brand new bfgoodrich a/t 10ply 285/75/17's on it and seems to run about 200rpm's more at sixty than my buddies 02 with 33's on it. Also, the computer says that at 55-60 i am getting 20-22mpg but then on the interstate it drops to around 18 while running 75. Am I turning too many rpms (I believe around 2300-2400) for an extended trip to be safe on the motor at 75mph? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have 4:10's with an auto and I am seeing the exact RPM's and mpg's you are. If i keep my RPM's 22 and below my MPG is better. Anything above and it drops off to around 18. Ive not experianced any issues running above 22 other then MPG. I think its the price we pay for low end grunt.
