F.A.S.S. or Aux Pump
What do you guys think about the FASS system versus keeping the cummins fuel filter/pump and adding BD Diesels Aux lift pump. Does the FASS come with a built in fuel heater like the stock filter unit? I understand the BD pump is cheaper price install but should the stock lift pump fail, with the vain blocking the filter intake, the BD pump will not push fuel by the stock one? Truck is still stock but getting ready to sup-it-up.

I recommend the the FASS, due to its proven reliability. Thats why I went that way. The warranty is 4yrs unlimited mileage, and I understand when/if it fails there is only a $5.00 brush kit to repair it.

Yup that's what i figured and installed the FASS. Great find on the $5.00 dollar brush kit, where do you get them? One thing is bugging me is what to do with the unused bango line? Great the oem parts are still there but need to seal that line a secure from vibbing. You know redundancy is a good thing

I went with the FASS, and do not regret it a bit. The truck runs much quieter than stock, and much smother. Also the better filtration, separation of fumes/air and ease of maintenance make it worth it.
