Explanation of in and out?

First; thanks to all of your replys on my trans temps. What I meant by "trans in and out" was: trans out was where I installed temp probe on the oil line coming directally out from the transmission. Note: the line that has been used many times on this forum for trans temp checking. The trans in was where I installed the temp probe for oil that is directally returning back into the trans after it has been through the cooler/heat exchanger system.Note: I wanted to see how well my trans cooling system was working. I hope this explained my method of madness ? and thanks again for questions and replys.
