Exhaust Manifold shims

Exhaust Manifold shims
Hey Everyone,
I have an 06 2500 that I'm replacing a turbo on (HTT HBT2) and when I unbolted all the exhaust manifold bolts, all the shims fell out onto my garage floor.
Long story short, I have no idea how many go on each one or how they should go back in properly.
Also, the truck only has 33,000 miles. Should I replace them since I have them off?
I'm fairly new to the CTD, so thanks for any help you can give me with reinstalling my ex. manifold and turbo.

I installed new shims when I put in my new manifold. If you have a caliper you could probably sort them in equal piles and measure their total thickness. They should all be the same anyway, the heads are pretty well leveled (or whatever you call it). I measured the ones that came off my 06, they are all .020 thick. I have a total of 12 of them that came off, so 2 for each outlet.
