exhaust leak at jake brake?

Coming down a long grade today with the 5th wheel and jake on, the truck started making a loud squeal... Kind of like a belt squeal but different. I put in the clutch, and the noise went away. I couldn't reproduce it, but then I didn't go down any other grades long enough to for things to cool down...

I think I read somewhere that a leak at the gasket between the turbo and jake can sound like that. (searched, couldn't find the thread) I suppose I'll double check that the clamp is tight, and see if it continues.

Has anyone had this problem? If so, did the dealer take care of it under warranty? Also, were there updated parts?

That sounds like a leak. youre on the right track with your checks. Also look for black soot trails. It could be any of the gaskets from the exh brake to the man to head gskt.
