If it misses when its idleing back down then its injectors. My 05 did the same thing, and luckily I got it covered at the dealer under warranty. I took it up there and they said they did 6grand worth of work. Replaced cp3,fuel rail, all six injectors, and lift pump and mine was doing exactly what you're saying yours is. Rev up, and when you let off it misses all the way back down. Before I went to the dealer, I asked John at Texas Diesel Power, and he told me the same thing...injectors

thanks mcolctd thanks high gear. most dont want to admit it. but its the truth. if your idle down sounds edit u have weak injectors. doesnt mean ull be strrannded in the next week. just means keep your egts in check and keep eye open for new stix. i went with stock new bosch injectors. all i run is edge on level 1 maybe level 2.

RonC, yeah, I was talking about rail pressure. Sallyman, this is my first Dodge and have only driven 2 others, sound like you've driven a bunch, so I believe you. However, I don't think there is anything wrong my injectors. Hope not anyway. Sounds like you're getting your truck back up to speed, gone thru just about everything so hopefully it will be a dependable and great truck for you. Oh, question, is riding a powerful snowmobile like riding a motorcycle or 4 wheeler? or nothing like it?

send them the don at Formula 1, he can repair them, put better nozzles on, and flow test for less $$ than buying new ones...
