My truck is pretty much stock besides Rokk Tech Adj. crank sensor, Edge EZ CAI, and no muffler. Im getting a bad rattle, I guess I would call it a timming rattle from what ive read on this site. I notice it more less after I put on the Edge EZ. I run it on Levle 3 all the time, but ive moved it to lower settings and get the same rattle. Ive read that a cold rattle is OK but it should go away as the truck warms up, mine does not. A buddy of mine that works at an Auto parts store, came out of the store the other day because he thought he heard a motor running with a rod knock, and thats what it sound like to me, a rod knock. Oil pressure is good, but the truck feels like it has a loss of power. I noticed the loss of top end power when I took the CAT off and put an Aero 4040XL in its place, Left it on there for about two weeks waiting for the soot to build up and my power to come back. It never did so I put the CAT back on. From a 40 mph roll the truck used to scream, and now it feels like a dog. Any ideas, ive heard that the Edge EZ can take out your injectors, but I would think that it would cause the truck to smoke. I did notice the other day when it was a little cold outside when I satrted it and ran it up to 1200 rpm it felt rough. You could feel it while sitting in the drives seat. Fuel millage does not seem to be that great. Changed the fuel filter, but no change in the way the truck runs. Maybe I need to take the EZ off and take it to the dealer.

Remove the EZ and see if it goes away.........you might have one that's not working correctly.
