i wonder if this is why i had a vibration at 90-100 km hour? or 1700-1900 rpm? maybe a injector was sticking and or valve not sealing properly.maybe all this overtime attributed to my high egts?

The o-ring is actually a piece of stainless steel wire, and yes it holds up to the heat just fine.

What out there is bullet proof? I have a new motor in the race car that I am going to the track with Sat. Has good parts in it. lots of $$$$ and yes it very well could break on the first pass. Stuff breaks.

I think you have gotten your point across that the dodge let ya down. I say fix it and sell it.

Depending on your cash flow, for this I would bore the #1 cyl and sleeve it back to std. If you have the cash then go for all 6 with over size pistons and some head work.

nah in his case, its always something elses fault. Just like the whole time he wanted to blame the high egts on the edge when in all reality it was a hurt motor. I think your best bet is to sale it and buy a geo metro or something.

You kill me! First off, you did run an Edge.Everyone on here knows that from your endless post about all your problems.Even though you might not have been running it the past month it could have still attributed to your problem. You have had more problems than anyone in the history of this website. For you being a self procalimed "diesel mech" its you that doesn't know your stuff!Lots of people on here have tried endlessly to help you through all these "problems" you keep having and 9 out of 10 times you want to question their knowledge with your lack of.Where is this diesel shop you work at?Is it called Jiffy Lube?Good luck with your rebuild.I am done trying to help you from here on out!
