Now at 2200 rpm, it would be a 182.6 rpm reduction. It would get me down to 2017.
That combined with the 315/70-R17's I'm running, and I'm under 1850 (maybe closer to 1800) rpm's at 70. That's where I want to be....
Just depends on the cost of the gear change, as you say....

Gears should be no more than $300 per set, install about $300 per axle, maybe a bit more for such a large truck. I had a shop put gears and a Detroit Locker in my 4x4 4Runner and it cost me $1450. I had a shop put gears in my 2wd F-150 and I paid $550.

5600 x 3.42 x 35" =1839 rpm... to bad i dont live in montana... its only 1370@60....
then again.. ill wat and see how long till they actualy arive.. lol.. probably about the same time as the lockers will.. lol..
