Edmonton Injectors

I'd like to pull my injectors and have them shipped out and "upgraded". Just looking for someone in the area that had done it before and might be able to give me a hand.

Thanks.

What are you looking for?

Have you talked to GCL Diesel Injection ?

http://www.gcldiesel.com/

I believe they only test/repair...

I know their not in Edmonton, but I think Kax (correct me if Im wrong u third gen guys)....makes some pretty good, but expensive injectors for the newer trucks:

You could also talk to NADP and see what they recommend.

I was just going to do a set of F1 mach 1's. Just looking for some pointers and or specialty tools, as I want to do the labor myself if possible. A friend of mine has dealt with GCL before and found them to be quite professional ($$$).

I like to do as much as I can keeping upgrades affordable. I prefer to spend money saved on beer!

if you plan on doing a set of F1's then it will be real easy for you, put the truck in the garage, remove the injectors (no specialty tools are needed), send them too don m, and wait a couple of week for them too come back, then when you get them back re-install them, and drive away!!

I got DDP injectors. I also thought about going with saskatchwan diesel ( or maybe it is saskatoon diesel) check it out on the web. Both are very good and fast

Real easy to do. Make sure that you have a torque wrench for the fuel tubes when you reinstall them. And the proper feeler gauge to do the valves. I am down in Red Deer if you run into problems let me know

thanks guys, after reading both the service manual and the detailed pictured post on "the other" site, its doesn't look as intimidating as I thought it would be. Just bought a torque wrench, waiting for it to arrive.

the procedure can be found here:
