Found some numbers on thedieselplace.com They don't give any information about the truck other than that it's a 600. Looks to be about 460 ft/lbs at the rear wheels.

Looks pretty similar to ones I have seen of the 555.

I'm curious to see the shape of the graph. The 555 was flat as could be. I'm wondering if the 600 has a small peak and makes less or similar torque in other RPM ranges.

Flat on the 600 too, but I expected it to be a little higher. Check it out at that website in the Dodge Cummins forum. I would post a link, but I'm not sure if that is allowed here. Easy to find anyway.

In which Dodge Cummins forum should I look? I think posting a link is ok, no?

Ted, how does the new "600" compare to the 555 in your eyes?

I think it is better but that is just from the Seat of the pants meter, we haven't had a chance to dyno a 555 yet.

Driving around empty is NOT a good comparison though you must hook the same trailer to both trucks and drive them or put them on a dyno like mine that can load it down.

For something rated at 600 lbft, 450 at the wheels seems a little low. Accounting for a 20% loss (assuming an automatic), it should be around 480 or so.
