Dorman Ball joints

Dorman Ball joints
I dont need them yet, a PO replaced all 4 on my 2005 3500 4x4 Ram Cummins truck. I found out Moog lowers wear out, jam and cause road steering issues, but I suppose uppers are better as lowers bear all the weight.
I also dont know what joints the PO put in but truck has no problems driving, all 4 have grease fittings, with bottom joint grease hitting is angled to side.
I was interested in the Dorman lower joints BJ82295RD with the all metal bearing, the other lower Dorman uses a plastic bearing support for the ball. BJ81265RD, whenever they might need replacing, and I do all my own work.

Depending on how big the axle bores are now, Stock new Upper diameter is 1.8945 (48.12mm), lower is 1.8059 (45.87mm) , might have to file down the outside of a ball joint to get the .004 to .010 interference press fit.
It looks like the lower Dorman part is .00546 to .00787 inch bigger than the new OEM lower bore hole.
Has anyone here had experience with the Dorman metal bearing ball joint? From the video, there is no spring loading of the joint to cause the joint move around inside the housing and wear out from internal banging like can happen with the Moog gusher joint.
This video explains why the lower Moog gusher joint can fail. I found out the RAYBESTOS 505-1311 is a good design except for the placement of the grease fitting.
