Does TSB 18-037-04 equal 610 lbs torque?
Just wondering... for those of us with 2004.5s that got the TSB flash, does our ECU now have the same program the new 2005s advertised with 610 lbs of torque have? Would that make our previous 600s now 610s? .
Has anyone put there's on a dyno for pre vs post TSB results?
For the record my MPG really has gone up on average 2mpg over last two tanks. Seems to accelerate smoother, but boy will she still smoke!

I had my truck dyno'd before the flash... I put out 275 and 515. After I had it flashed after that, I heard that it could lose 20HP, So, shortly after that, I had it dyno'd again and they didn't have it hooked up to measure TQ, but the HP was 278. Which, doing a bunch of math one night, I found to be figured around 521 which would put it at 610 at the crank I'd say.

I just took delivery of my '05. On the window sticker it says it's a 610. However, it had NOT had the 18-037-04 flash done. That being the case, it seems as if the 600/610 thing is more of a marketing spin than anything. It's getting the reflash this morning, and while I only drove it a few miles before having them do the flash, I'll let you know if it seems to have more SOP response.

I also noticed that the automatic High Idle activates at about 5 degrees warmer than prior to the flash. So I think several parameters may have changed with this flash pak.
