14,800 on mine, really hard to tell since I keep stickin' stuff on it . Seems like it's stayed about the same, 10-12 towing, 14-15 city, 17-18 highway. the box i just put on added about 1 mpg because my last tank was 18.8

After reading all the posts it sure is hard to decipher results. Some the same, some better & some worse? If I had to guess it has much to do-w-driving style & local fuel quality. This is considering mods being consistent-w-mileage results

Thumbs up I think lightman said it best !!!

If you keep your foot out of it.Here is what I found on a 600 mile round trip to upper michigan. This is empty mileage figures.Driving at 80 mph mileage was 16.8 to 17.1 mpg.If I backed of to 60-63 mph, my mileage went up allot 18.2 tp 19.6.My truck has about 10,000 miles on it.I love this little honey coobie

04' quad 4x4 short bed 3500 SRW 6shooter. (305/555)

100% bone stock.
Only 1 motor oil change so far, and nothing else.
Now I have ~11,500miles.
Most driving is 70%hwy 30%city.
Avg. speed on hwy is about 75mph (b/c it starts to vibe when hitting around 80mph).
I drive hard and fast mostly.

Picked it up early December (winter fuel mix), and got about 16mpg.
Then it went to about 16.5 to 17mpg towards end of winter
Now I get about 18mpg.
Sometimes to 18.5mpg.

Most ever gotten was all hwy drive: 20mpg.

When towing:
I tow about ~9K behind me and get about 12.5mph...but I'm moving avg. about 70mpg when towing.

This is all hand calculated. Computer now has been reading a tad less (like I would get 18.4 and it would say 17.9 or something)
It used to read a tad high during winter months...

around 15 mpg. around town and highway. 17 to 18 straight highway @ 75 to 80 mph. CA diesel. I got better mileage in Nevada, 19 to 20 straight freeway driving. stock truck. I puy an after market air filter on it and mileage seems tobe a little lower. 40,600 miles 03.

This is my second ctd. The first had 32,000 miles and at most .5 mpg. The second I now have just over 30k and again .5 at most. They will definately change sound and start and shutdown easier just like any new engine after break-in. I have had 5 new trucks in the last 7 years and all are little to no change in mpg. I have had numerous people tell me they had a dramatic increase at a certain mileage, usually the 2 mpg jump after 15,000 miles. If I had to bet in las vegas it would be trucks increase less than 5% in fuel mileage.

I have not seen any great increase with mine. I got my 04 in November of 03 and averaged 19-21 mpg hand calulated on hwy. I try not to put my foot into it however. I have found that if I keep the RPMs under 2K and boost under 10 psi (empty) I get that mileage. Any more than that and it will drop into the high 17 and 18 range. I have 19,800 miles on the clock.
