Does anyone "wash" their engine?

I like to wash the motor with a little bit of heat in it. About 150-170 Water temp... That makes the oil real easy to get off.
I usually spray it with half a bottle of simple green,, wash it with medium pressure soap, then spray with simple green again,, then rinse, and then rinse with "soft water" to keep water spots down. I then lay a heavy coat of Armour All down,,, extra shiny,, but, that's only for car shows, and events,, if I'm just driving it, I leave it just rinsed, as it's easier to clean next time.

Rinse the dust off every time I wash the truck and also blast all the crap and bugs out of the condensor and radiator.
I try and stay away from the alternator and electrical connections.
