Diff Cover

Its time to change the gear oil again, and i can no longer stand to look at the stock stamped steel cover. I know of the maghytec, ats, and the pml. any place to get the mag's cheaper than $275? can even find the ats cover in their catalog. anyone got a link for a pml vendor?

Why doesnt the dtr store carry them?

Diesel Performance Parts carries the PML covers for $170. They only sell them in cast aluminum finish, but it doesn't take much to paint them.

I'd like to know who has the cheapest price also, on either the PML or Mag-Hytec. And how about the tranny pan? I want to change the fluids before my summer vacation camping trip and figure I might as well change the cover and pan while I'm at it.

Geno's has a pretty good price on the pans. I got my rear diff cover from them and will order a PML tranny pan shortly as well.

I just bought front and rear black powder coated PML diff covers. I'll be putting them on this weekend.

I put on a Geno's finned cover with the chromed Rams head on. It really stands out, and the pan appears to be first rate. The problem is I don't see them in the Genos catalog anymore.

"Google" Mag-Hytec...There is a site that comes up, I think it is www.maghytec.com. This is not Mag-Hytec's site, but a dealer. Anyway, they have good prices, and free shipping. If you have the 11.5 rear, I think the price is 261.00 shipped. I ordered my DD trans pan from them. Very fast service. HTH

I got my PML from www.moesperformance.com. Best price I could find, plus free shipping. No hassles at all.
Found out yesterday that my 315/H2 spare touches the top of the diiff cover at full articulation. I couldn't imagine what a Mag-Hytec would do. So, now I have to either get smaller tires, or a lift kit.

My MagHytec was a little close to my 315 spare, probably would have hit, so I just added a little air to the Ride Rites, lots of clearance now.

I looked at all the covers and bit the bullit on the mag hytec.. I think it was the nicest and most functional.. I really liked the suspended magnet on the dipstick. Now the 8 quarts to fill it was a different story.. I went with the DC fluid at $22.00 per quart... OUCH!!!!

When you buy the DDTrans pan from Geno's

the 06 is $261,but they include a MOPAR trans filter that costs $15.95.
Geno's is a deal at that price.
