Smile Diesel Cheaper than Gas Today

I paid 2.279 today while unleaded was 2.99 and up.... felt good for once.... Across town though, the diesel was 2.389.

This was my first full tank after the re-flash and hand-calc was 17.46mpg. OHC said 17.4. Can't complain about that. My last tank was 15mpg. This tank had alot of HWY miles, but it also had some boat pulling and quite a bit of idling. I also used 16oz of Diesel Kleen in this tank.

I paid 2.16 at the Walmart in Hurst today! It was 2.05 on Sunday--after reading the above I guess we are lucky in the DFW area!

Almost square in middle of Texas, gas today ...... $2.21 gal, Premium gas ...... $2.31 gal and Diesel ........ $2.33 gal.

Bought Diesel just last week for $2.06 gal ........ .27 cent hike in 7 days.

Sure wish I had a piece of that bank account action going on like the oil companies are getting.

Just filled up for the first time last night. Put in 8oz of Stanadyne also. Diesel is 2.509 at my local Amoco/BP. $78 for fillup...ouch. Will post some mileage numbers after this tankful.

btw- thanks Daniel for the good deal on the bedliner.... and thanks for being home or I'd still be lost in the wilderness of Indiana.

LOL.... the wilderness of Indiana huh. No worries... glad you could use the bed liner. Sorry about that $2.50/gal up your way. Man... thats no fun. How was the drive back? Was there as much traffic going back in as there was coming out?

$2.54 up here in Rhode Island. I dunno why it's so much more than gas (regular only $2.19) Yeah that's a big hit to the wallet. I'm sure hoping it comes down soon, that's a lot for fuel.

Heard on radio this morning the oil companies are in the top ten list (more like 3,4,and 5) of the biggest money making margins for this quarter. The oil companies keep telling us they aren't making a profit, If your the one making most of the money and tell everyone you aren't making enough profit we are either in the depression again or they are going to screw us until some one steps in and says enough. Like that will happen with the oil barren Bush's running the country. Man I can not beleave how stupid the people that voted for Bush were. Couldn't they see through his bull about going to Iraq.

Flame suit on, you cann't hurt me.

Because a lot of oil companies own their wells. That's where they are making the profit. And the commodity traders....

And if you don't like it go drill your own wells.
