It looks identical to your top pic from http://www.transmissioncenter.org/.
Will take a snap shot and post it asap!

Wouldn't be a kick in the butt if these guys are buying from PATC and reselling at a higher price?

Both places could be getting them from the same place also with different pricing. Just wondered what DTT's solution was and looked like for future reference. Thanks.

Thats looks more like the Suncoast unit with the BorgWarner solenoid. The PATC has striations on the flat pieces and the other doesn't.

I was told DTT was using the Borg solenoid and it looks like it to me.

I finally got around to changing the solenoid and transducer last weekend. Did absolutely nothing for the problems I seem to be having. Still constantly hunts gears between 25-35 mph. By hunts I mean it upshifts/downshifts repeatedly. Still has the extremely hard shifts too both on the upshifts and downshifts. It's hard to explain but imagine what half the teeth missing on the rear end ring gear would feel like, makes a clunk when it shifts also. I noticed it really doesn't seem to want to kick down into a lower gear like it should either. I was really hoping the solenoid/transducer would solve most of it but I guess I keep hunting. Any other ideas?

I don't mean to hijack this thread but I have a question about replacing those two parts. Are you guys replacing them because you are having problems or do you consider it a routine maintenance item(after so many miles)???

Check you rfront band adjustment and make sure it is correct. Thgats the usual culprit with a 2-3 shuttle. The solenoid won't fix it most of the time. If a band adjustment does not help you may have an internal leak causing it.

Replace them because they quit working correctly. I am on 2nd set and they are screwing up. About every 40k I have replaced them.
