Did I get the right pressure solenoid?

I ordered from Transmission Parts USA for a 48RE but the package I just got says D22958 46, 47RE 1996-UP on it. Is it the right one. I hate dropping the pan only to find out I have the wrong part. The transducer says 48RE on it.
This is what I ordered

Yes I bought both at the same time. Plan on doing it Friday. Any tips on the installation? How are the solenoid and transducer held in the transmission?

Im not seeing a transducer on their site anywhere, I 'm probably in the wrong area through.

I need to order these two parts as well.

p0wd3rp1l0t- Does your tranny just seem to shift better now?

From what i've heard it just takes simple hand tools to unbolt everything. I believe they are on the side of the valve body. I haven't seen it first hand so don't quote me on anything.

Yea those two items must be it, I was searching for "transducer".

Just wondering, what CEL codes did you get when these went bad?

Both Solenoid and Transducer are on bottom, front, passenger side of the valve body.
Need 7/16" socket and T-25 Torx head.
Drain fluid and remove filter for a while before R+R, unless you have a lift. If not you get drips everywhere.... mouth, clothes, eyes.
Other than that.... easy DIY job!

I'm thinking about replacing mine...
Is it best to use this kit http://www.electricaladvantage.net/a...erkit00up.aspx or, just replace those 2 parts ?? ( transducer & solenoid)

Your wasting time and $$ with the OEM junk. The solenoid is the biggest problem. You can live with a slightly off transducer if the solenoid works correctly.

This is much better solution:

Every 45, 46, 47, or 48 RE is a 618RE in the old designator language. The Suncoast unit is 68RFE BorgWarner solenoid on a custom plate. It will fit every one of these units from 96 to 07.

The top one is from PATC here:

DTT recommends these GM Solenoid Conversion units. Claim they have had zero problems with them, after over a yr in use.
Just bgt one after my 5th factory solenoid started to hang up before shifting.
Another thread on the subject HERE. if interested?

Got it from my installer, supposedly at his cost.
It looks identical to your top pic from http://www.transmissioncenter.org/.
Will take a snap shot and post it asap!
