If you test drive a 600 you will not buy that SO! I had a nice SO in 03 but the power difference between the two is huge. If you want a 600/6 speed then I would hold out for one. If you do decide to buy this SO then I would use the fact that it's not an HO to bring the price down. We all know that you can easily make lots more power later...
There's a sticker at the front driver side of the engine that has a lot of info on it. On that sticker it will state 235ISB or 250ISB if it's an SO or it will state 305ISB or 325ISB if it's an HO. If it says 325ISB then it's a late 04 with the 600 series engine...
The current engines are still 24 valve engines. They just went to the common rail injection system in 03.....

Its probably an '04 model year - I just didn't think that combination existed that long, but I'm sure there was a stack of NV4500's/235 SO's lying around that they needed vehicles to clear out the inventory. Maybe its one of those MA cars (or is that NH?) vehicles that have similar emission requirements similar to CA that kept the SO's around for a while?

In any event, if you're thinking of buying it, I'd run the VIN through CARFAX and see what they say.
