Diagnose my Truck

Guys, My truck is starting to surge or pulsate when I press the go pedal. Its a weird feeling and I know its not normal. It surges like three times then it takes off. Its under normal to easy driving conditions. When I take off more aggressive I dont seem to notice it. Is this a sign of transmission trouble or something else. Anyone have a hint of what might be going on, I dont.

How many miles do you have? Did you change the fuel filter.

I have 52000 on it and yes I just changed the filter. It does almost feel like its starving for fuel.

it is probably the bully dog, mine has that issue not at take off but at or around 1900rpm, and again at 2300rpm. took it of, no problem. But........... for me it was not actually a problem, reason is i pressed the go pedal this far, it went there and stopped accelerating, but if i just keep pressing down it is fine, drivability of the bully dog for me. But for you it is definately worth trying.

I took the bullydog off the truck. It still surges but its hardly noticeable. I had it offroad today in some soft dirt and it seems to surge worse in the soft stuff. Something is not right and I dont know what.

Well the surging is gone and so is the transmission. Its in little pieces on the dealers floor. Went in Monday and got a download to stop the surging. It didnt work. Wednesday going uphill in fourwheel lock full throttle it went. Got towed to the dealer and they now have it in pieces. Its toast. I hope DC will pony up and eat some of it since it only has 53000 miles.
