Bummer. At least the new one (in tank version) will last a lot longer.

I found a good used stock LP in the classifieds here and keep it in my toolbag just in case. I'm still under warranty but I just hate being broke down out in the middle of nowhere. The replacement in-tank pump is supposed to be much better....
Go check out some new trucks while you are waiting.....

Not necessarily, my intake pump only lasted 90,000 miles compared to 128,000 from my stock firewall mounted one.

Hopefully you kept the parts from the swap. that old draw basket is worth something, or valuable for when you want to go aftermarket...

I know I kept mine as you can draw fuel through it. However, I've decided to go with a Hellman sump to feed a FASS.
